2) In order to obtain a student visa you need to check the relevant visa requirements for your country of origin as well as the education sector in Australia . This refers to the Visa type or subclass.

Requirements whilst on Visa
The Australian Government has strict rules you need to be aware of in order to retain your visa. You need to comply with these rules and others or your visa may be cancelled:
Attendance
Change of address within 7 days
Study fulltime (min 20 hours per week)
Work no more than 20 hours per week
Maintain overseas health cover

Health Insurance
It is compulsory for you to obtain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) whilst studying in Australia . This health insurance must be paid before your Visa can be issued and you must remember to renew your health cover annually. If members of your immediate family are with you they will also need to have a health cover.
Working While Studying
If your student visa permits you to work (condition 8105) you may work a maximum of 20 hours during course time and full time during vacations.
